Gleaming bottles line the walls. Racks and racks of various types of spirits and wines line each shelf. We had the pleasure of creating a menu that paired well with Mortlach whiskies. Single malt of various ages. We created a menu that feature savoury, umami elements to ensure that the customer had the best possible experience with the whisky. From a sous vide beef rolled with arugula drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette to a salted caramel chocolate cake square we paired darker canapés with peatier, smokier single malts while lighter tea smoked chicken in a tomato basil tart married its flavours with the daily drinks of lighter flavours.
