Well the day finally arrived…..the highly anticipated moment of the sugar dress taking to the skies on the spectacular Petronas Twin Towers Skybridge was everything we hoped it would be …..and more!!!!

The evening was amazing on so many levels.

 

 

 

Jessica Minh Ann of J Model Management, the company that organised the Spring Fashion Show walked first in this flowing blue number.

Exclusive tour to the observation deck on the 86th floor of the Petronas Twin Towers …..which is almost never accessible at night and omg what a view!

 

 

Nigel and I sat like proud parents ooh-ing at baby’s first steps at the show…albeit a little blue in the face from holding our breath. No one was more blue than the real father, Mr Creative Director himself, who was hostage backstage, nervous as a wreck.  Not in small part contributed to the fact that he was told, just 3 hours before the show, that he had a grand total of THREE , yup three minutes to assemble the sugar dress onto Ms Model .

Ah.

But we needn’t have worried.  Our creative team of 3 …..the girls who worked tirelessly with Allan to create this masterpiece ( big hand to Wei, Marina and Michelle!!!!!) and Allan whipped it on In good time………

then the announcer said ….. ” And now, the final collection of the night ……is by Just Heavenly!”

 

 

 

 

 

One by one the models bearing our beautiful cupcakes took their places on the runway in stunning formation….and then we saw it.

 

 

 

Emerging like a flame in the dark ( allow me my drama moment) , the light bulbs flashed, the people were wowed, the model sashayed and the dress stayed on.

I can only say that as a page in Just Heavenly’s books, this was something to be really REALLY proud of.
